These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SowSignal website and SMS gardening reminder service (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) The Service

SowSignal provides informational gardening reminders via SMS and related web pages. Reminders may be based on information you provide (e.g., ZIP code, area, and preferences) and general planting guidance. The Service is for informational purposes only.

2) Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

3) SMS terms (consent, opt-out, carriers)

By opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from SowSignal at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply.

  • Reply STOP to cancel SMS messages.
  • Reply HELP for help.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4) Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information (e.g., correct mobile number and ZIP code/zone).
  • Use the Service lawfully and not for abusive, harmful, or deceptive purposes.
  • Maintain control of your device and messaging access.

5) No warranties

Gardening results depend on many factors (weather, soil, pests, microclimates, watering, and timing). The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that reminders will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific conditions, and we do not guarantee outcomes.

6) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SowSignal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, crops, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

7) Paid features (Paid Subscriptions)

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, subscriptions renew until canceled. You can stop the SMS alerts by replying STOP. However, please note that replying STOP does not terminate a paid subscription. You will need to access your billing profile with the payment processor to terminate the paid subscription.

8) Intellectual property

The Service, branding, content, and software are owned by SowSignal or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

9) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, or to protect the Service, users, or the public. You can stop receiving SMS messages by replying STOP.

10) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SowSignal is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11) Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates when changes were made. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
